Post by manton »

Hallo today I got my 40+ running after 10 years in a shed , I did not have to open the motor just changed oil in gearbox a new throttle cable, sparkplug cap and tension Lead, cleaned the carb, inside and out , tank inside and out, and lots of cleaning old paint removel and a new coat of paint the colors are not from seagull but l think it looks nice, it started after three pulls in the water tank pencil thick water coming from the block I am very pleased becouse l am not a experte, one thing l found funny I got a new sparkplug Champion D-16 and did not use becouse when l tryed to screw it in it did not seem to want to go and l did not want to screw up the thread on the block, I used the old one of which L can turn by hand it worked well, now I must try it on a boat see if it still works here are some fotos regards Barrie :D
