litterally ....

newly acquired 1952 FV ....opened little round brass points box inside Villiers magneto...and no points at all ...been nicked for something else no doubt

no wonder there was no spark !!!!!

sensible price paid for proper item

I have to confess I don't know which would be the original points set. Early FVs and 102s of the forties had a version of the Villiers points that relied upon a threaded stud with the contact weled on the end.

I don't know the date they changed, but functionally you would certainly be better off with that later 'Spring & Screwdriver' unit, which nis more common.
