Had g great day out on the water last Saturday (5th August)
The weateher could not have been any better!
We had a turn out of 9 baots, Most where 2 up! We where 4 up and still found it hard to go as slow as the others.
The trip started off at Epworth Retreat, HORAHORA. We headed down river to Pokaiwena Stream where we went through a real nice tight gorge.
We turned round and went up to little waipa reserve for lunch.
After lunch we set off heading back down stream to Epworth Retreat for a BBQ dinner and stay over night.
During height of our Summer it's supposed to be the middle of your Winter, correct me if I'm wrong.
Then why do your pictures look like they have been taken on a spring day, on looking out of my window it's grey, hissing down with rain, have I overslept by 2 months?
That looks like a beautiful day, please don't tell us your wearing shorts, as that will cost me another 60 minute call to the Samaritans.
