I've been buying all the no longer available 170 series parts I could find over the last 20 years, many of which I realize I'm never going to use.
So I'm going to have to move most of them on.
I have, all the following are new/unused 170 parts.
Piston sets (piston, rings, circlips & wrist pin)
Main bearing pairs (top & bottom)
Crank shafts
Con rod castings (unmachined)
CDI Mk4 ignitions
Mk4 flywheels
Recoil starters
Amal 420 carb bodies & various other carb bits.
I also have several storage boxes full of used parts, trays covers, legs lower units, transom brackets.
Why not PM or email me to see if I have, what your looking for.
New/unused 170/125 parts.

Cylinder or crankcase?
If it's your cylinder, how bad is yours?

What is the correct chronological order of manufacture of the QB, 125/170 and 5R. Main site makes it a little unclear Thanks.

Somewhere I have a notebook full of date data, but don't ask me to find it.
170 series first, then the Qub's, the 5R was the last of the Qub's Jan 1993.

Wonder why they discontinued the cover on the top? Glad they did.

The 170 series were styled by Terrence Conran I was told, & that was why they went to the expense of a cover, tray & all the other components that this styling required.
