I'd try John first if I were you - number at the top of the page.

I have to say, I tend to take recoils starters off Seagulls, rather than fit them..

RE Recoil starters.

While I strive with a century +, two 40+ and a 40 FW , a Ducatti marine engine circa 1950ish, and a Vire circ 1930ish, including a couple of Dyna starts, I have just gained a JAP engined See Bee 3 Mk1 which is in real good nick cept that it is missing the recoil starter, same as on any small JAP engine of the time it bolts to the engine cowl with a 120 degree spacing 3 bolt frame. One can be seen on the "See Bee outboard site"

Anyone have any idea of a source for this item? I am in Perth Australia but have locations in Hastings and Swansea and Bideford pertth Uk or Australia.

Jeepers I had a Seagull Cent + on my Silhouette 2 back in '68 !!!

I also have a pile of Seagull bits here in perth , blocks Heads cranks tubes transom clamps etc

regards

Maurice
