Any chance you can make up some of the fuel pipes Stelios? I note that Villiersparts (George?) now have the spigot nut: http://www.villiersparts.co.uk/carb.html
Motor looking good. What type of tank strap are you going to use?
Blah.. my hippie gf has made Quinoa porridge for brekky. Wish they had kippers downunder!

Hi guys,
I would have done a proper presentation of my SD but I am waiting for a tap to make the carb trumpet.
No problem to make some pipes of any kind if you like Hugs
The straps will be as close to the original as they can be. I have found the type and they are already holding the tank.

Has John run out of the trumpets?
I think there would be a large demand for the SD fuel line. The early AC/AD's also have them I believe.

No I don't think John has run out of trumpets. Just my tension to try to make everything by hand. In case I fail I will get one from John.
OK I will try to make some fuel line this weekend to see what I could achieve.

I chopped a tiller arm so I hope to be as close to the original as it can get!

All the parts are available to make the fuel pipes out of copper pipe, including ferrules etc. works out about £10 or so using the correct brass ferrules and nuts. The Later AC and AD had a different shape nickel plated pipe.

Wow nice bit of work Stelios. I like the way you hold the trumpet for tapping

Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas everybody!!!!
One year since the beginning of this post. I have just finished mixing SAE 140 with grease. I made a mixture which is like honey or with even a little higher viscosity. I hope it will be OK.
Grease gun cannot push gearbox oil (sae140). It's too thin and can't stay in the grease gun chamber. It leak from every possible way. I hope it will be able to push my "honey".
Tomorrow should be THE day!!!

Finally!!
I have to thank everyone that helped me supplying parts, giving information or in any other way. Of course the forum owners for this excellent tool. Without you all guys I wouldn't have made it. Again great big thanks, especially to those that send me the original parts!
Merry Christmas and a happy new year!!
