First trip out today with my 125 started like a dream and plenty of push but not much water coming out of the engine so think its time to get the head off and check the water ways.
Only other thoughts of problems might be did I not seat the pipes correct after the gear box rebuild but I sort of think if that was the case then it would not go back together or no water, does not push out as much as my trusty centry which now starts second pull.

I would say if the water delivery pipe was not located in the water pump housing, then there would be no water.
I would take its head off.
Should look like this.

Ok so heads off good and bad looks all clear, so now need to get the copper feed pipe off to check that also the impeller, now I thought the impeller to be a rather sloppy fit when I was rebuilding the gearbox but I have no idea what it should be like.
Help

The 125 has a different cooling system to all the earlier Seagulls, about half of the cooling water is directed into the exhaust from the base of the cylinder to cool & silence the inner exhaust, so don't expect the water flow of a Century.
Read the FAQs for info on how the impellers work & fit.

The man who knows strikes again... thanks
Will flush everything through while heads off, and put it all back together, did push so much better than the century happy days..

Tested the engine on the boat yesterday all went well, now rigged new kill switch cord.
Engine starts well but not so pleased with the tick over also lots of vibration better when in gear but tick over is lumpy and loud in comparison to my century plus, better with less smoke half looked like we were on fire before...
