I have just bought a seagull an FP. Now that i have cleaned fuel tank, pipes and changed gearbox oil, she starts first time.........my problem however, is the lack of water flow from the hole under the case.........What is the problem please.
Should there not be aconstant trickle of water..

What can i do.......bearing in mind i a novice...
What can i check and how
I do not have a manuel...

I am a litte disapointed that responses to my plea were unanswered.......fortunately the problem sorted itsellf and water flows once more from my seagull.........test drove it around marina with no probs.......

Apologies that you feel that no one responded to your request. But the issue of lack of water flow has been covered in-depth. Most of the help I needed in the early years is in the FAQ section. My advice is send John a request for a manual and enjoy your motor to the full.

I had a similar problem of intermittant water flow on my 40+, the water supply tube from the impellor to the head had come loose, a quick tighten and all was well.
Me? I'm perfectly balanced...got a chip on both shoulders!
