aluminium tube removal

Post by Loiner1965 »

after much cursing i have removed everything which holds this tube on...it has move around 5 mm but will not come off.
looked inside and only thing i can think off is the exhaust holder?
how does the square impellar shaft come off from the crankcase as i think it justs pulls off but i do not want to use too much force

The main best idea is to Be patient, don't use force yet.

Can you post some pics so we can see where you are up to and give us your engine number?

I once could not disconnect the drive tube from powerhead it was so rusted on to crank
had to cut off drive tube then grind away drive shaft from crank ..was left with a good powerhead.
