Sorry Folks but it looks as if Easyspace has a problem yet again.....
You will have noticed the lack of navigation buttons on the home page suddenly... this is because I notice I could not get on to Edit, and the counter had failed, so asked them to look at it as the operating /editing system was dowm....
Now many pages seem screwed tottally so might have to get the site reloaded!
Am requesting they sort is ASAP, but don't hold your breath...
At least the Forum still appears to work....

Re: WEB SITE PROBLEM!!!!
Hallo John,
Now, the 27th, your site is running again!
One thing: your number of visitors is back to ....number 1!
Should that mean I am the first????
Congratulations and Happy Seagulling
Regards,
Albert

Website resurrected!!
Hi Albert and congrats on being the first, sadly the counter was not working when I got back to it today....
Of course we were up to the high 120,000's so guess it will have to be reset when working again..
I bet I have my webmaster to thank for the reloaded site! The last mail I had from the Service provider, Friday, was asking if I had a back up of the forum... they were not going to do anything till they heard from me...
I have been busy moving house for our lad and his wife, so this is ths first time I have had a chance to see what is occuring for a couple of days....
Fingers crossed it stays on line!
Regards,
John

Hi all
I spent most of Saturday working on the site which should be back now and working. ( except for the front page counters
)
I still need to do a bit more house keeping fix a link to the old guests page but other then that I think we have a working site again.
In the next few days as time permits I will have a look at the counters and either fix them or replace them with a non Front Page component. It seems that all of the problems that we get are related to Front Page. Front Page is a fantastic editing package when it is working properly but when it plays up anything can happen. It also could be related to our Hosting Suppler
implementation of Front Page Server extensions.

Update
Hi all
Hopefully we are nearly at the end of all our web site problem
Yesterday our ISP moved the web site from a Unix Server onto a Windows Server. This should fix all the problems John has had with using FrontPage to maintain the web site.
I notice that the Avatar
( the little pictures against peoples names) are not working.
I have a copy and will restore them tonight
Regards
Tim

Further Hiccups
Hello Folks, Today the site worked fine fo 5 minutes, now the Index or home page has lost all it's buttons again and gone to a white background!
I have also realised that all the buttons from the side of every page, taking you to diagrams or other pages linked to it, have gone as well!
Tim had tried to mend what he could but I will now have to send him a copy of every damned page that is screwed, so he can work his magic on it.
To date we have had neither apology nor explanation from Easyspace.... Nothing new there then!
Anyone know a reliable company who will properly host our site?
Sorry for all the problems,
John

Well Thanks to Tim the webmaster the site is back and looking much like it used to.
There are still glitches, as I understand new people are now having trouble trying to 'Register', and a button has mysteriously dissapeared from the home page again, but I am confident Tim has a solution to those problems...
I have replaced the pics that seemed to have got lost and when all settles down will start on the pile of info that I have accumulated here, thanks to all the owners for sending it in...
